The year is heading towards its end: lessons learned and what's next
The end of the year is the perfect time to reflect on past challenges and errors, draw valuable lessons and set clear goals for the future.
While dealing with everyday business and bureaucracy, I've spent years working on several projects - two to three applications in the pipeline, but none of them entirely ready to host. What a shame! The first key lesson I learned is to set the right priorities, to focus more on implementation and to have a clear execution plan. My long-term goal is to build an entire ecosystem consisting of my website, various web and mobile applications and communication channels. In other words, the year 2025 will be exciting with several applications being rolled out.
Our first application will be Signum, a news data app entirely free to use. Signum will povide not only aggregated and curated high signal content from hundreds of sources supplied by our crawlers and data pipelines, but also community threads where users can share and discuss their own posts. Later, we will enter the market with a business version, allowing companies to monitor and analyze news, generate automated and data-driven press briefings and access our archives and API.
Once Signum is finalized and implemented, we plan to launch an app focusing on data-driven digital marketing - an application that started as a personal side project to learn JavaScript and over time evolved into a comprehensive marketing app with features such as project and task management, SEO analysis, website auditing tools and data crawling modules.
If the launches of both apps succeed, we plan to roll out our flagship software by the end of the year, which will be a powerful price data analysis and inflation calculation tool specifically designed for the finance industry. In short, 2025 promises to be an exciting year, but it also comes with significant challenges and plenty of hard work ahead.
